Bought my car this weekend. Lets just say I’m quite satisfied and very eager to begin some improvements. Taking the car to my dads house this Wednesday to change my oil, antifreeze, and any other fluids I need to. Then hopefully new tires this weekend along with a much-needed alignment. Then from there its ordering new parts for interior pieces I would like to replace.

Mitt Romney, presidential candidate, makes roughly $57,000 a day. A DAY! That is more than the middle income of families in America. Then if he becomes president, he is guaranteed another $450,000 per year, for life. Then to top it off, he only pays an interest rate of 13%. He should be at 35%.

So I got a message today from one of my accounting buddies who graduated in December. He had an internship at Kuni BMW and got promoted recently to full-time staff and is in charge of daily bank reconciliations for 5 different dealerships. Well, since he got promoted, they need more help. The manager asked him if he had any friends who were looking for an internship and he dropped my name. No guarantees of course, but its nice to know I still have options. Getting a hair cut this week for in case I have an interview coming up and need to update my resume possibly.

Now to work on homework and stop being so damn unmotivated. Being unable to find a car, a job (entry level part time), and being broke should be motivation enough to get my degree to make that scrilla but it is just not enough. Maybe this internship will help.

Tonight:

Reading of 3 chapters for my tax class from the masters program.

Working on my communications assignment - I need to make a flyer for an upcoming writing workshop on campus for shits and giggles, but I need to have 10 different examples (should be easy with google) and then explain how those influenced me and the ideas I have for my own flyer in a 500-word response to our class blog. Then I need to write 150-word responses to 2 other people about theirs. I dont give a fuck about theirs.. why do I need to give them feedback. Good thing I have microsoft publisher at work or else I have no idea how I’d go about completing this

And finally: my cost accounting assignment. also easy.

Tomorrow: Tax return (hence needing to read those 3 chapters) and a different group project

Monday: Work then class

Tuesday: Class then work

WEDNESDAY: Its the 1st. I should have more $$$ for my car so now many I can find one. Come on wednesday

That should be it. I may be forgetting some things though. I also plan on buying the N/A engine for now but in a few years, if I haven’t bought something else, I may swap it to a turbo. Then, I’d install a hood scoop, TMIC, boost controller, and internal gauges for my boost pressure and fuel mixture. If I get to this point though, I may then upgrade my seats and what not internally, though I’m planning on buying one with the winter package so I would hate to lose my heated seats.
